I have a sweet funky blissed out swooshy wonky breakbeat track out now on Ephedrina, the marvelous label based in Rome.

Its part of their 100th release, which is a whopping great 4 volumes of top notch electronica and techno.

Four By Four This Friday! by Hamish Campbell

Looking forward to rocking a 2 hour techno live set from 3-5 at Four By Four this friday, in their new home of Studio 24. I'll be supporting the magnificent Mark Reeve (Cocoon, Drumcode, Soma) and the tremendous 4x4 residents: Krowne, Strut, Jack O.D. and the epically named Rendezvoodoo.

Looks like its going to be a busy bouncy one!

LINE UP:
03:00-05:00 - MORPHAMISH (LIVE)
01:00-03:00 - MARK REEVE
00:30-01:00 - KROWNE
00:00-00:30 - JACK O.D
23:30-00:00 - STRUT
23:00-23:30 - RENDEZVOODOO

Strut modelling the greyscale version of the poster for... well can't you read? If you can't read there is no point in me asking that question, I'll never get an answer. Get someone who can read to read it out for you then dictate your answer to them and they can get back to me. Oh hold on, that won't work either. Let me know if you can't read and I'll come and read it out to you. Fuck it, just come to 4x4 this friday whether you can read or not. There won't be a written exam or anything, its just the dancin' and that eh...

Gigs In August by Hamish Campbell

I'm playing a gig every friday for the 1st 3 weeks of the Edinburgh festival. You know that means the wonders of the world come to the burg and we the barbaric Scots are trusted with 5 am licences. All very cool.

On the 1st of August its Four by Four with special guest Mark Reeve (Drumcode /Soma/ Cocoon).

I'll be on after 3 am, doing a techno live set. Its at Studio 24. Big things for 4x4 as they are moving to a bigger venue as of this festival special!

On the 8th its ETC time again. The theme is Tekno Arcade and the guest is Johnny Sideways (Kaotek Wrecklords). Its a 2 room night, I'll be on the larger room doing a hard a fast live set with plenty thematically linked powered up tailor made for the evening type musics.

On the 15th is AMMA Does Techno (etc...) in a brand new super groovy venue.  AMMA is a mysterious entity run by the power of C.O.G.s who have the knack of putting on spellbinding events in unique and wonderful locations. What this space for details ;) AMMA will run  all month, with an extremely diverse bill, but this night is going to be technofest.

Radioheid by Hamish Campbell

The latest Black Lantern Music Show on Future Music FM. This one's predominantly all about the straight up techno. There's of course a lorra other stuff thrown in but that;s the drift ye ken ya dig ya know? Ok/// Oh Mercy! We have threeeeee oh yes I say 3 killer sets for your delectation this time.
Firstly the wonder that is Filthy Rich delivers a beast of a dj set taking in fresh beats and classic techno seamlessly and feverishly blended. This man has made me lose my tiny mind in so many unfathomable locations of the mind and location over the years, as well as places like the Calton Studios and the Venue, its an honour and joy to have him on the show.

That sumptuous aural treat is followed by another! A marvelous hypnotic expansive super fresh hot off the press live set of rolling lean crisply clean but being dirty techno from Aodh (possibly known to you previously as Octophant, from the fucking super hearty and tremendous Shake Yer Shoulders crew).

Satisfied? NO? You're an ANIMAL. We like you.

Ok, well then here's a cheeky oldschool dj set our very own Krowne from 2009 (2009 is oldschool now? fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck) , its a peach, and so are you for listening. Mwah!

Ello from the radio! by Hamish Campbell
